Facial Refinement
Micro-enhancements and tweakments - refreshing and balancing the face without changing identity. Restrained method, natural result.
Book a consultationOverview
Dr. Kien approaches facial refinement with "intentional restraint": never reshaping the face to match a trend, but using small techniques to boost vitality, balance, and preserve personal identity.
The goal is a face that looks like you at your best - not a face that looks like it "has had work done".

The RASA process
Facial analysis
Evaluating the facial golden ratio, identifying imbalance points, and defining the smallest possible intervention.
Pathway design
Proposing options - sometimes combining minor surgery and non-surgical treatments for the most natural result with the least intervention.
Procedure
Depending on technique: light sedation or local anaesthesia. Takes 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on scope.
Recovery
Most patients return to work in 5-7 days. Bruising and mild swelling resolve within two weeks.
Frequently asked questions
Will upper blepharoplasty change my eye expression?
A reasonable concern. Dr. Kien performs it with a principle of preserving your look: removing just the right amount of skin so eyes look more open and refreshed but still clearly yours.
Does rhinoplasty always require major surgery?
Not necessarily. Many patients only need a small tip adjustment or a combination with nasal filler to achieve the desired balance.
How long do filler results last?
Filler typically lasts 12-18 months depending on area and product. RASA only uses reputable HA fillers that can be dissolved if needed.
